Author Spotlight With Adonis Devereux

Today I am welcoming the fabulous Adonis Devereux today to my blog, with a sneak peek at their fabulous new release, The Twelve Naughty Princesses. Take it away Adonii...

Thank you so much, Jorja, for hosting us today! We are Adonis Devereux, a husband-wife writing team. It's wonderful to be here talking about our newest release, The Twelve Naughty Princesses. This piece is quite a departure for us, as usually we write stories set in our own fantasy world of Gilalion. But when we got the idea for this story, we set everything else aside and wrote like mad. We got swept up into the story, and I must say that the result was … well, be warned. Just about everything that can have a warning is in this. Spanking, voyeurism, bondage, three- and four-way sex, magical curses, and one lonely soldier caught up in the midst of it all!

Here are our author links.

The Twelve Naughty Princesses - Blurb

Max is a soldier down on his luck, and when the king sends out a call for volunteers to solve the mystery of the twelve dancing princesses, Max figures he has nothing to lose, nothing, of course, except his head if he should fail. Max has faced death before and doesn't fear it, but when he meets the princesses, all lovely, light-hearted, and battling constant exhaustion due to their mysterious nightly escapades, he realizes he could lose his heart as well. To win his princess, Max must break the spell. But he must face the truth that the twelve princesses are terribly naughty and do much more than just dance, and he will have to join in the amorous festivities himself to get them out.

Excerpt

Each princess chose two dancing partners, and an invisible orchestra struck up a waltz. The music fell like dew drops and moonlight over the room, coating everyone and everything in its beauty, doubling in Max his longing for Alaren. She fell into the arms of one of her partners, leaning back into his chest. He cradled her in his powerful arms, and they swayed together. The other man joined them, and Alaren was pressed between their flesh. They moved with the waltz, their feet unerringly skipping across the ballroom floor while their bodies undulated against one another. They moved like waves in the sea. Each thrust evoked a pull. When one exhaled, the other inhaled. Grab and swirl, push and grind, the dancers performed their sex-waltz. Max brought himself almost to climax before he stopped suddenly, letting his cock go as it twitched in anticipation of orgasm. He knew how to build up his cum for a final, explosive release. He grabbed his cock again and resumed stroking.
Perdita, the mistress of the ball, walked around to different trios of dancers and administered light spankings where she thought appropriate. Some of the twins she upbraided for not giving themselves to the night, for not dancing with all the passion they could muster. The princesses giggled and moaned, enjoying every moment of their punishment. Max wondered if some of them did not dance badly on purpose just so they could get spanked. After being disciplined, the twins danced with greater heat as they wiggled their buttocks on their partners' growing cocks. Perdita walked on, and the expression on her face reminded Max of a matron of a particular cat-house he used to visit regularly. Everyone had assumed that due to her severity, she hated men and wanted nothing to do with them. But Max had known better. Over her own protestations, he gave her a good fucking one night, taking her instead of one of her girls. That was just what she had needed, and he had known that. Whenever he went back there, he always fucked her. Perdita was much the same way. She looked stern and intimidating, but Max knew all she needed – all she wanted – was a forceful cock inside her that would not spurt within the first minute of intercourse. Strong women had that effect on men. They needed even stronger men with even greater stamina to topple them and give them the orgasms they craved.
Max returned his attention to Alaren, and his cock regained its vigor. Alaren was the woman for him; there was no doubt about it. She was what he needed. Max lost track of time. He did not know how long he stood there jacking off, but the music finally ended. The princesses’ slippers were worn through. They must have danced for hours, but how time flowed in the faery realm Max did not know. He was still as horny as ever. The princesses were all covered in sweat, their hair drenched and clinging to her skin, their corsets moving up and down with their labored breathing.

Wow! Thanks for stopping by and sharing this with us :)

My Avengers

Last week I went to see The Avengers. Now, I'm no comic book nerd and I wasn't strong-armed into going, I just couldn't resist all that male totty!

There's something for everyone isn't there - Iron Man, the billionaire playboy; Thor, the pumped hero; Captain America, the wholesome good guy and my personal favourite, the Hulk. Well, come on it's Mark Ruffalo and some of the best scenes in the movie!

It got me thinking about my own leading men and how they would form their very own superhero team - The Knee Tremblers. I've added pics of my 'inspirations' so you can see what my team would like like.

Smith Masterson (Into the Wild) is definitely my All-American hero;

Edifu (Pyramid of Passion) has that perfect sculpted physique to make you tremble;

and Zanaan (In her Element) has that cocky attitude and self-confidence to rival any hotshot,

but I don't have my Hulk :(

The closest I have is Daniel (Up all Night) who is a vampire in the upcoming Keyboards and Kink anthology. But he's more about the sex than the anger ;)

So I guess that's my next project - a hero with a dark side that even he's afraid of. Ooh, I like the sound of him already...and yeah, will probably involve more Joe Manganiello inspiration.

Release Day!

Last weekend I spent a lovely couple of days in Scotland with the ladies of my crit group. Needless to say there was copious amounts of wine, food and of course sex talk!

The fun continued even after I returned home, as Monday heralded the release of my contemporary romance, Into the Wild, which was the first manuscript the ladies ever helped me with.

Today also sees the release of the long awaited Blood Bar Chronicles - a series of paranormal stories by our crit group. Book one: The Alphas, contains my story, In her Element.

"You shouldn't be going through this alone." Zanaan whispered. "Relax and go with it."
"Go with what?" Ana asked as another wave of uncontrollable pleasure washed over her.
"That," he said, giving her a lopsided smirk. He bent down until his lips were almost touching hers. "This."

She held her breath; her heart pounded, knowing she was waiting for that final kiss. She was a slave to her arousal—the tightening of her nipples, the dampness between her legs—all awaiting his touch. Her eyes fluttered shut, but the kiss never came.

The warmth of his breath skimmed across her skin, into her ear and down her neck until Ana couldn't stand it anymore.

"Mmm." She bit her lip, attempting to stem the pressure building inside, but she was too far gone. Her legs quivered in the unsteady heels, and she flattened her hands against the wall to steady herself. All at once, her release came—fast, furious, and feeling fucking amazing.

"Well, that's a first."
At the sound of his deep voice in her ear, she fought her way back through the haze in her brain. "What is?"
"I've never made a woman come without laying a finger on her." He stirred that tingling sensation all over again.
"You didn't—I didn't—I've never—" she said indignantly, then gave a frustrated grunt. "Get out of my way!" Embarrassed and confused by her behavior, she shoved him in the chest and made her escape, the sound of his laughter ringing in her ears.

You want more? I'm doing a blog hop with the other authors in this book: Cherie Nicholls, Doris O'Connor and Arya Gray. Just leave a comment on our blogs to be in with a chance to win a copy of The Blood Bar Chronicles Book One: The Alphas.

Happy Easter!

This is the calm before the storm. My last free days before I explode in a rush of euphoria and paranoia. I have TWO new releases coming out before the end of the month *chews nails*

Every author eagerly awaits each publication but I have reason to be more anxious than usual with these stories. Into The Wild, out on 16th April with Evernight Publishing, was my first completed full length contemporary romance.

And 'In Her Element', available through Breathless Press from 20th April, is part of The Blood Bar Chronicles. This is a selection of paranormal stories written by my very talented CPs.

So, I'm taking the weekend off to relax before the whirlwind of blogs, promotion and the usual worry - Will anyone buy my book?

*Hyperventilates* I need something to soothe me...

Aah, that's better!

So, enjoy your holidays and I'll see you on the other side :)

What Makes YOU Proud To Be Irish?

St Patrick's Day is just around the corner and I'm always amazed at the rush around the world to celebrate all things Irish.

Growing up in Northern Ireland in the 1980's, I never understood why people who didn't live here thought it was a great country. Bombs, army patrols and feeling like outsiders were all part of our lives here during The Troubles and left us somewhat embarrassed about our country.

These days though, we have much to be proud of! Belfast in particular has become a vibrant city, as our recent visitors will testify. We hosted the EMAs with Lady Gaga and Selena Gomez among the stars to grace the Odyssey Arena.

Oh yeah, and we had a streaker!

Incidentally, the Odyssey is home to our own ice hockey team, The Belfast Giants, who have been in residence for the last decade and brought this fabulous sport to our doorstep :)

Our golfers have put us on the map recently too, with Rory McIroy as the current World Number One.

This year also sees the 100th Anniversary of the Titanic (the saying here is that an Irish man built the greatest ship in the world but an English man sank it!) With the highly anticipated opening of the Titanic exhibition centre already attracting millions of pounds in ticket pre-sales.

Of course, our magnificent scenery is a huge draw for tourists and film-makers alike and HBO's Game of Thrones cast and crew are a regular feature along our north coast.
One of these days my stalking will pay off!

So there you have it, I'm Irish, and finally proud.

What about you? Leave me a comment and tell me what it is connects you to the country or why you love it and I'll enter you into a draw for a copy of my novella, Pyramid of Passion.

Take part in the St. Patrick's Day Blog hop here  to win a stack of prizes, including Grand Prizes of a Kindle Fire/Nook Tablet and $90 Amazon/Barnes&Noble gift card.

And as an extra Paddy's Day present to you, here's a snippet of my next novella, In Her Element with Ana, my very own fiery Irish heroine. Pour yourself a pint and enjoy...

In Her Element Blurb

Ana Chapman is ready for a little excitement in her life. She gets more than she bargains for when she steps foot in the Blood Bar in Edinburgh to meet her writer friends. Spontaneous orgies and the supernatural are nothing compared to one ex-Fire Elemental, Zanaan, who stops at nothing to show her the time of her life.

Valentine's Day Blog Hop

Valentine's Day – when everyone's thoughts turn to love...or lust.
From an early age, we are dreaming of a handsome prince to sweep us off our feet and I think this often forms our ideas of what our true love will look like.

The earliest crush I remember having was on Christopher Reeve, as Superman. I know, I know but that lovely dark hair and muscly body was still lovely, regardless of him wearing his pants over his tights. And I was only about five at the time lol

I progressed onto George Michael from Wham, yes I realise now I was barking up the wrong tree but he had lovely dark hair too, before he destroyed it with bleach.

The teenage years saw my bedroom walls covered with pictures of Jordan Knight from New Kids on the Block, and hell, I'm not afraid to say he's still hot!

When Buffy was the hottest show on telly, the dark and brooding Angel was more my bag than Billy-Idol-Lookalike Spike, even though he was the funny one and the loveliest guy in real life. (Yes, I did meet James Marsters and I will boast about it forever more!)

You can see there's a theme developing here – no blonds! I never found myself attracted to one, never dated one and even now when we have the sexy Eric in True Blood, I'd rather watch the tall, dark and handsome, Alcide. Well, you can see why…

So, when I was asked what my perfect man would look like, I always described him with dark hair, dimples and a fantastic sense of humour and lucky girl that I am, my OH embodies all the qualities I ever wished for. And he still lets me drool over Joe Manganiello when I feel the urge :)

So, enough of my dodgy childhood crushes, tell me about yours. As part of the Valentine's Hop, I'm running a competition to win a copy of Pyramid of Passion. All you have to do is tell me who your crushes were growing up or who your perfect man is today and follow my blog. Don't forget to leave your contact details! To be in with a chance to win lots more goodies for Valentine's Day, visit the other participating blogs here.
