It's that time of year again, for ghosts and ghouls and things that go bump in the night. Well, my characters pretty much bump and grind the whole year round, but you get my drift lol

I'm a big fan of all things paranormal, especially those unique heroes with their dark, angsty 'other worldly' personas. There's so much scope when writing romance with a paranormal twist.

My first novella, Pyramid of Passion, transported my heroine back to Ancient Egypt to be seduced by Pharaoh's soldier, Edifu.

Excerpt

"Hmm. Your strange attire would indeed appear ineffective armor for the Goddess of War. If you are not the Goddess herself and she has not sent you, then perhaps Qadesh? Such a gift from the Goddess of sexual pleasure would surely increase a mortal's prowess on the battlefield tenfold." He drew a thick fingertip from the hollow of her throat to the zipper on her smock. Rosie had gone from Goddess to sex toy in one fell swoop.

A gentle tug on his wrist woke Viktor from a heavy slumber. Through sleepy eyes he could make out Jackie’s blurry form at the top of the bed. “What are you doing?”

“I thought you’d never wake up.” Another tug on his other wrist and he tried to sit up to see for himself. With both arms above his head, he couldn’t move.

“What the fuck?” He tried again but found both wrists tied to the brass headboard with two of his silk ties.
